St.Therese public school is situated in Ayamkudy which is a very beautiful tiny hamlet with sylvan surroundings. It is about 30kms from the historical town of kottayam.The foundation stone of this school was on 19th March 1998 by Rev.Br.Vincent Perumpamany,superior general,congragation of St Therese on 13th of march 1999, Mar Joseph Pullikaparampil,the Bishop of palai, blessed our school. Therese public school, which was begun as an affiliated high school in 2005 has already covered many milestones in the path of its development and has created a good reputation in the field of primary and secondary education in the center. Under the able stewardship of Rev.Br. Jerome CST,the manager,Br.Joseph Anchery,the principal and Br.Jons Alex, the vice principal, the school is at the zenith of its glory. This institution is aimed to mould every child into a responsible citizen of our country.Qualities like honesty, sincerity and faith in god are instilled in the hearts of children.

The application for admission to LKG for 2008.2009 will be issued from the office on 15th November 2007 onwards The child should be in the age between 3 and a half and 4 and a half years as on 1st June. The other details will be available in the office. Students from UKG are transferred directly to STD 1st The students will be cattled for admission based on the rank list and the vacancy position arising in that particular class.

The entrance test will be conducted during second week of april everyyear subjects for the written test are: For STD 1st to 4th[English and Maths] STD 5th to 8th[English and maths and Malayalam] The syllabus taught in the previous class (CBSE) will be followed for the entrance test. Hostel facilities are available for girls from class 1st to 10th.when girls are admitted there they must strictly follow all the rules and regulations of the boarding house.
